Itinerary
Departing from the designated time and meeting point, we are heading to Trilye. The town, an old Greek village, is a place where people from nearby cities often enjoy. Trilye, also known as Zeytinbağı, has more interesting places and colorful streets than other places in the region. Some of the places we will see here include Fatih Mosque, Avlulu Bath, Stone School, Dündar House, Arched Church, Trilye Cultural Center, Aya Yani Monastery, and Tabut House. You will also have enough free time for breakfast (extra) and individual exploration.
Next, we visit two peninsulas located on the shore of Lake Uluabat. The first one is Eskikaraağaç, home to the Bird Museum, the only representative of European Stork Villages in Turkey. The other one is Gölyazı, which has been the scene of several TV series and movies in recent years. During our time here, those who wish can take a short boat tour through the water lilies to an island with the remnants of an old monastery (extra).
We then head towards Bursa Cumalıkızık Village. The village, which will transport us within a time capsule to the early years of the Ottoman Empire, has become a weekend breakfast spot for people living in nearby cities. However, the village, with every corner resembling an Ethnography Museum, sheds light on the architectural tradition of the region.
As we travel through a nature-rich environment to reach the village, we first take a stroll with you, and after seeing Cin Aralığı, the Ethnography Museum, its 300-year-old mosque, and other important structures, we have free time for individual exploration and enjoyment.
